Project Zeus

This last week has been a resounding success for P:Z, taking an amazing £45 in just 3 days! I cant comment on the overall scores of the individual Houses at this moment in time though. However, I can say that some of out competitors have completely flattened the other competitors ;)

So, only two days of P:Z Wii tournament remains, next week on Tuesday and Wednesday. If you havent played already and would like to do so, hurry up before it is too late!

Also, we are pleased to inform you that our charity has been selected; we have decided to give 40% of all funds raised over events taken from this term to the Sumatran Earthquake appeals, as this is a very recent issue in need of money to support the effort.

Thank you to everyone who has turned up over the last few days and we all look forward to seeing people participate for the remaining two days.

Well, I’m pleased to report that our first day of our tournament went off without a hitch. The projector was back online, people turned up and we were away! We think, and this is only an initial estimate, that we made around £9 today alone.

Apologies to those people who didnt get a chance to have a go today, even though they had paid. Promise you’ll get a go tomorrow :D

Right now, the Hall is being plagued somewhat by serious (well, serious for us I mean) technical issues, and if they are not resolved by tomorrow, we may have to call the tournament off! :’(

I’m not totally 100% sure of what the situation is at this time, but it involves the projector and the video feed, which basically means that we are screwed if it isnt fixed.

There have been some allegations that these issues were in fact caused by P:Z after our rehearsal. These allegations are groundless, and DO NOT BELIEVE THESE RUMOUR-MONGERERS.

Messages will be sent out (possibly) into registers tomorrow morning detailing our situation.

Yep, it’s that close to the start of our Inter-House Wii Tournament! In fact, it is 49 hours away from the time of posting.

First blog post!

Next week is a very big week for us at P:Z, as the first three days of our Wii Tournament will commence. Hopefully, if you are seeing this, then you have received an official invitation to turn up to our Tournament, or you have seen the adverts around school maybe.

Just to let you all know, in case you didnt already, the dates are next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and the week after on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
